Bathroom renovations

Bathrooms are Pohjola Constructions' core expertise, and the ones we build are meant to last. A full bathroom renovation covers the complete strip-out, waterproofing, tiling and fit-off, coordinated as one job rather than handed between separate subcontractors. Adam manages the whole process personally, from the first day of demolition to the final tapware fitting.

The waterproofing is where the difference shows. All of our waterproofing exceeds the NCC. We go higher than the minimum height up the walls and apply a third waterproofing coat. Where possible we also use the Wedi board system, a fully waterproof board, in place of traditional membrane methods. It gives you peace of mind against expensive leaks down the track and a wet area genuinely built to last, whether it is a compact apartment bathroom in Bondi or a family bathroom in a Randwick terrace.

Tapware and fittings come from brands we trust, including Mira, Nero and Yabby, sourced through Tile Cloud and Colour Tile. Across the Eastern Suburbs and Inner West, bathrooms are the renovation we do most often, and the one where careful waterproofing and finishing make the biggest difference to how the room performs over time.
